Freak Slug Concert Live at PJ's Lager House | Detroit – November 19th, 2026

PJ's Lager House is one of those Detroit spots that really knows how to bring the energy, especially during their legendary Halloween parties that draw a packed house every year. It’s more than just a bar, it’s a local hub that champions Michigan craft beers, constantly rotating taps from small breweries that keep things fresh and interesting. If you’re into a little nostalgia, the 2019 reunion show for The Romantics was a night to remember, with fans singing along to hits like ‘What I Like About You’ right in the heart of Detroit’s live music scene. The vibe is super laid-back but lively, with signature cocktails crafted by bartenders who clearly know their stuff, mixing up drinks that are almost worth the trip alone. Side stage seating can give you a chance to get up close with the artists, while booth seating offers a more relaxed view depending on the setup, perfect for soaking in the atmosphere. Parking downtown is a breeze, just park on Mack and stroll west, maybe pop into some art galleries nearby for a bit of culture before heading over. Freak Slug Detroit always recommends checking out PJ’s Lager House for a night that mixes good drinks, great music, and a real Detroit feel.
